　　Further Mathematics is useful, but not required

　　Economics A-level is welcome, but not a pre-requisite

　　General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted

　　There is no specific advantage to taking a fourth subject.

　　(2)IB diploma：Minimum 39 points

　　7 in Mathematics at higher level

　　6 in two further subjects at higher level

　　Either Mathematics Analysis and Approaches or the Applications and Interpretation syllabi will be accepted at higher level with no preference.

　　There is no specific advantage to taking a fourth subject.

　　(3)Advanced Placements： minimum requirements for this course are grades 5, 5, 5 to include：5 in Calculus BC;5 in two other subjects

　　(4)International：

　　ib：Overall scores of 38-42, with scores of 6-7 in relevant subjects at higher level. Please note Mathematical Studies cannot take the place of Mathematics, where Mathematics is specified as a required subject.

　　Choose BSc Economics, Finance and Data Science as a course

　　Finish your application and submit application by the final deadline - 31 January 2024

　　If your written application is successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview.

　　There are two parts to the interview, which will be completed within the same week:

　　An online maths quiz (30 minutes at a set time to ensure fairness to all candidates more details can be found in our FAQs)

　　An online interview with an academic (20-30 minutes)

　　Quiz performance may be used to inform interview questions, but will not in itself be a criteria in the selection process. The purpose of the interview is for us to to find out more about your motivation, analytical thinking, and communication skills. As such, no particular preparation is needed and we do not expect you to demonstrate prior knowledge of economics, finance and/or data science. Our aim, at the meeting, is to identify prospective students who are most likely to enjoy and succeed on the degree.

　　Before you can register for your course, pay tuition fees (if you’re self-funding), or receive a CAS to support your visa application (if you need one), you will need to show you have met all your offer conditions.
